Providence Health & Services CNA - Assisted Living in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Residential Care, Evening Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Assisted Living in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Act as an advocate for residents in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security
Provide appropriate resident assistance as directed by the licensed staff
Assist in providing assistance and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan
Required qualifications for this position include:
Obtain CNA certification in Montana within 6 months from date of hire
AHA CPR Certification within 60 days of hire
No adverse findings on State Nurse Aide Registry by Certification Bureau
No adverse finding on Montana criminal background check
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Assistant Certification, or have experience as a personal care giver that would allow challenging the test and passing within 2 months of employment
One year experience as a CNA in acute care or long-term care
Three years experience as a personal care giver
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
