Providence Health & Services CNA Residential Care in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Residential Care (Residential Care, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. In this position you will:
Apply patient identification and allergy bands
Complete accurate intake and output
Complete and documents personal inventory on newly admitted patient and places their belonging in the locked cupboard
Contribute to the assessment of the patient by collecting information for analysis by an RN
Give complete and accurate report to licensed staff upon completion of tasks and duties
Obtain and record height and weight
Orient patient and family to call lights and unit routines. Answers patient calls promptly
Perform accurate placement of telemetry patches and addresses telemetry signal issues promptly
Perform restorative rehabilitative procedures as instructed
Prepare patient for meals, serves snacks and assists with feeding
Provide for comfort, hygiene and safety needs of patients
Utilize a collaborative interdisciplinary process to provide support to all members of the Patient Focus Care Team to reinforce basic patient/family education
Utilize positioning aids and turning schedules to protect pressure points and maintains normal anatomical alignment
Required qualifications for this position include:
CNA’s required to obtain CNA certification in Montana within 6 months from date of hire. AHA Heartsaver CPR is required within 60 days from date of hire
Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
