Providence Health & Services Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic (Diagnostic Imaging Dept, On-Call Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This is a supplemental role working a variable shift. It will fill in for sick, leave and vacation time on day, evening and night shifts weekdays or weekends as needed.
In this position you will:
Provide services to all patients and in all settings served by the department.
Assist radiologists in exams and procedures.
Assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the best service to our patients and physicians.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology
Current Radiologic Technologist certification in Montana (MSRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, surface and visceral anatomy, and medical terminology
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
Recent Radiographic experience
