Providence Health & Services RN – Quality Specialist in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Specialist (Full Time, Exempt) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. In this position you will:
Design quality improvement processes, monitor and analyze performance through data collection and analysis, and work to improve and sustain improved performance.
Coordinate and integrate clinical performance improvement across committees and clinical specialties. This work will be accomplished through participation and communication with the medical staff, hospital staff, and various committees charged with improving clinical quality.
Collaborate with other Quality RN Specialist in the service area to improve performance and outcomes and to share expertise.
Serve as a resource to clinicians and leaders regarding best practice from the literature, published guidelines, other organizations, etc.
Serve as a resource to clinicians, leaders and other hospitals for quality and strategic priorities that are specific to Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs)
Have a focus on improving clinical quality and outcomes for all patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the state of Montana
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Three years of clinical nursing experience, customer relations, and patient outcomes
Experience in projects, Joint Commission, and leadership
Experience in performance/process improvement
