Providence Health & Services Special Procedure CT Technologist in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Special Procedure CT Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging, Variable Shift, 0.80 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This position will work rotating shifts 7 days on 7 days off. Generally the hours will be 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM weekdays on weekends 8:00 AM to 6:00.
In this position you will:
Apply prescribed ionizing radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent.
Provide radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards.
Maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
Assist in assigned administrative tasks.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licensed by the State of Montana as a Radiologic Technologist
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
1 year general radiology/CT experience
Knowledge of the techniques of diagnostic radiology
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment
